Ms. Jacqueline L. Veasley

Jacqueline 'Jackie" Veasley affectionately known as Jackie, was a beautiful baby girl born on December 5th, 1968 in Gary, Indiana to her proud and loving parents Dorothy Mallett & Ralph Fox. Her family noted Jackie as being a sweet, quiet and shy child. When Jackie was a toddler she and her family relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jackie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a child and never lost her faith. she was a good student and fast learner who received her former education attending the Milwaukee Public School System from pre school to grade school, on to middle school and finally high school. In 1990, Jackie gave birth to her first child, a son she named Javari and after being united in holy matrimony with Maurice Jone ,Sr. her soul mate on July 24, 1999 their union would be blessed with two children, a son, Maurice Jones.Tr. and a daughter, Jada. Jackie was a loving and devoted wife and a nurturing mother who wore her motherhood with as a badge of honor. She absolutely adored her three children and she showered them with unconditional love. Jackie's warmth and compassion lead her to become a Childcare Provider, a position in which she took pride in providing exceptional care. Some of Jackie's hobbies include; cooking, solving crossword puzzles, watching TV and listening to music. Jackie's favorite bands were the Isley Brothers and Maze featuring Frankie Beverly. Jackie found immense joy in her family and spending quality time with them, especial her children. There was rarely a day that she did not call and check in with at least her mother, grandmother, her Aunt jean and Uncle Sam. Every holiday the family migrated to Jackie's home, where the atmosphere was warm and inviting filled with plenty of love, laughter and good food. Jackie was a beacon of light to all that knew her and she will be dearly missed. She passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025 surrounded by loved ones at St. Joseph Hospital. She is survived by her mother; Dorothy Mallett; father, Ralph Fox; grandmother, Lela Windom; three children, Javari Ely, Maurice Jones jr. and Jada Jones; daughter in-love, Jhakyra Fayne; sister, Lawanda Fox; best friend, Jacquelynne Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins adopted by love sons and daughters and friends. & I Sit In Heaven As I sit in Heaven and I watch you everyday, I try to let you know with signs that I never went away. I hear you when your laughing and watch you as you sleep. I even place my arms around you to calm you as you weep. I see you wish the days away begging to have me home, so I try to send you signs so you know your not alone. Don't feel guilty because you have a life that was denied to me. Heaven is truly beautiful just you wait and see, so live your life, laugh again, and be free then I know with every breath you take you'll be taking one for me. Love Always and Forever Jackie
