Mrs. Jessie Foster Kidd-Hodges

JESSIE FOSTER KIDD-HODGES was born on June I6, 1975 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was the only daughter born to her mother Marlon Hoard-Woods and father Jessie Davis Foster. Jr,. Jessie had a love for learning and was close to finishing her degree at MATC. She was the true definition of an exciting person to be around. She would light up a room as soon as she walked through the door. Jessie had a loud and obnoxious laugh which is one of our family traits. She also had a unique style and flair for putting together an outfit. Though she had many flaws, her love of God and her fun personality outweighed them all. Even if you got mad at her you couldn't stay mad for long because she had a way of getting back on your good side. Jessie left her mark on so many lives through her spirit of service and presence on earth. It shined through the most as she worked and operated her own cleaning business, Jessie's Concierge Services. She took great pride in cleaning and organizing the homes of her customers. She also enjoyed serving her community, through feeding the homeless and playing multiple roles in several churches throughout the years. Jessie loved playing the tambourine and lively praising God during service! The Life of Jessie S. Foster Kidd-Hodges came to a peaceful end on November 23,2023. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Elroy and Della Mae Hoard; her father: Jessie Davis Foster,Jr.; children's father: Joseph McLaurin; sister-in-law: Jennie Sullivan; granddaughter: Qu'Niece Avery; and beloved friend: Jerry Carson. She leaves to cherish her memory seven children: Monteal Foster, David Foster, Jalisa Foster, Quintaesha Hodges, Jayromica Hodges, Jojuani McLaurin and Thaddieus McLaurin; her mother: Marlon Hoard- Woods; daddy: Earnest Goodman T.,Jr.; three brothers: Quincy Hoard, Johnny Kidd (Shon) and Kalama Washington; husband: Jerome J. Hodges; God given brothers: NatronAnthonyandJohnny Doyle; God given sisters: Alberta Agee, Harriet Agee and Latonya Walker; fifteen grandchildren: Jalaya, Javonta, Javaria, Janaydra, Elisa, Davianna, Anika, Dakota, S'Riah, Billion, Kallie, Jomiaz, Delilah, Demiya and Demyra-all of which affectionately called her Smooches and she had a nickname for each one of them. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
