Mrs. Leanna Robinson

At the call of our heavenly Father, Leanna Robinson found eternal peace at the age of 66 on Thursday, May 19,2016 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was born from the union of Samuel Shorter Sr. and Cloree Luenig on November 19, 1949 in Hollandale, Mississippi. At an early age Leanna accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior while being a worshiping member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church where she was baptized. Shortly after attending Simmon's High School in Hollandale, Mississippi, Leanna relocated with her family to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she showcased her strong knowledge of finance in which greatly assisted her in being able to provide financially for her family, friends and love ones. Spending time with her family and friends was always a joyous occasion for Leanna. May it be traveling, celebrating birthdays and graduations, or dining at restaurants she always became high in spirit when in the company of those she cared about. Leanna was a firm believer in seeing her family united in love because it truly brought her happiness. Leanna's charm, wise words, protection, encouragement and strength was touched by many during her lifetime. Leanna leaves to cherish her memory her 6 Children: Letricia "Letrice" Lever (Claude), Jerry "Chucky" McCoy Jr. (Cara), Jarvis McCoy Sr. (Patrice), Sharon "Gina" McCoy, Margene "Rene" Edwards (Kenyata) and William "We We" McCoy Sr. Her 21 Grandchildren: Derrick Harden Jr., Tiffiny Harden, Jeffrey Harden Sr., Claudijah Lever, Taylor McCoy, Mackenzie McCoy, Javesha McCoy, Jarvis McCoy Jr., Brooklyn McCoy, Mckenzie McCoy, Nyomi Perry, LaNya Hunt, LaShay Hunt, Kyla Edwards, Kole Edwards, Rosco McCoy, Elijah McCoy, Zona McCoy, William McCoy Jr., LayLa McCoy, Tesian McCoy and her 7 Great Grandchildren. Leanna will also be survived by her Loving Siblings: Robert Taylor Sr. (Jerri), Nancy Prentice (Thomas), Christina Reed (Alfred), Terri Dixon (Raymond), Fredrick Howell (Pamela), Bruno Luenig (Pamela), Ute Luenig-Thompson (Raymond), Yolanda Luenig, Arteen Luenig and Ossie Shorter. Leanna's additional siblings: Pythian D. Johnson, Samuel Shorter Jr. and Masco Morris Sr. preceded her in her passing. During Leanna's life span she shared sacred unions with Jerry McCoy Sr. and William Thomas whom she leaves her memory with as well as a special matrimonial union with Alfred Robinson who preceded her in her homecoming. Leanna also leaves behind heartfelt memories with a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, friends and caring loved ones.
