Ms. Lue Ester Yancey

LueEster Yancey was born on November 27, 1947, to the union of Ester B. Fayne and Lottie Rhodes (Fayne) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She received her formal education at North Division High School in Milwaukee, WI. On June 30, 1973, Lue Ester Fayne was united in holy matrimony to Richard Yancey in Milwaukee, WI. Their union was blessed with two children. She was employed by Walgreen's Photo Studio for 25 years as a supervisor, and Pick & Save for 22 years as a cashier. Lue Ester found joy in a variety of hobbies that reflected her vibrant spirit and curiosity. She loved crocheting beautiful creations, capturing memories through photography, exploring new places through travel, and immersing herself in books. She also enjoyed the fun of visiting casinos, playing online games, and watching true crime stories, which sparked her fascination with uncovering mysteries. Each of these pastimes brought her joy and allowed her to connect with the world in meaningful and rnernorable ways. LueEster Yancey peacefully entered eternal rest on July 5, 2025. She was preceded in death by several cherished family members who now welcome her home: beloved father, Ester Fayne; devoted mother, Lottie Fayne; loving sister, Julie Quezaire; brothers, James Fayne and Donald Fayne; dear nieces, Toni Green and Alicia Green; and her cherished nephew, Danon Quezaire. Their memories remain etched in our hearts, and we take comfort in knowing they are now reunited in God's care. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and faith. She is lovingly remembered by her: devoted sister, Minnie B. Jones; beloved daughters, Sophia Yancey and Pia Yancey; and treasured grandchildren, Kiara Patterson (Wynn Huynh), TaylorMarie Yancey Causey, Briana Yancey, and Brandon Yancey. She is also survived by her dear niece, Gabrielle Adams, and nephew, Donovan Adams. Her legacy continues through her precious great-grandchildren, Alivia Rushing, Kenzie Phounsavath, Kylo Huynh, Aleia Huynh, Aubrey Huynh, Zia Brown, and Kalani Huynh. Lue Ester was blessed with the love of many extended family members, including her best buddy, Delores Fayne, as well as a host of other relatives and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
