Ms. Nancy Parr

Nancy Ann Parr was born on April 4, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was the only child of Ms. Dorthea Damatto. Growing up, Nancy and her mom lived in downtown Milwaukee. Her faith was centered in Catholic beliefs, which led them to worship at The Church of the Gesu. Nancy matriculated through Milwaukee Public Schools and ultimately graduated from Lincoln High School. She earned her post-secondary education through Milwaukee Area Technical College. In her professional career, Nancy led a high performing team at a national company to exceed district goals for many years. As the matriarch of her own family, Ms. Nancy dedicated her life to providing a home filled with warmth, encouragement, and unconditional love. As a devoted mother, she embraced motherhood with boundless strength, courage, and selflessness. ensuring that her children were nurtured with values of kindness and perseverance. Through the joy of motherhood, Nancy gave birth to five children, Calvin A. lee, Derrick lee (Melinda), Kimberly Means (Demond), Charmane Lacey and Nicole Whiteside (Cl). Additionally, Nancy loved and cherished her thirteen grandchildren, Calvin A. Lee II, Breana Smith, Cameron Lee, Joshua Lee, Sequoiyah Lee, Ciera Lee, Charles Lacey, Christine Lacey, Kimora Thomilson, Karrynna Thornilson, Hannah Means, Kalani Lathon, Addison Whiteside. and one great-grandson, Armani Smith.. Her life was a testament to the power of God's love and grace, whether through a warm meal, wise counsel, or a simple smile, Ms. Nancy made an impact on countless lives. She had a heart that never wavered and a spirit that radiated kindness. Nancy's love extended far beyond her immediate family and included many friends. Known as the "Community Mother", Ms. Nancy welcomed every child with open arms, treating them as her own. She had a unique gift for seeing the best in everyone she met, offering words of encouragement, a listening ear, and a comforting embrace to all who needed it. Nancy Parr departed this life on February 19, 2025. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorthea Damatto, and her great-granddaughter, Nyla Lacey-Bovia. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in knowing that her love, wisdom, and compassion will continue to guide us. Her legacy is one of love, strength and the unwavering belief in the goodness of others. Rest peacefully, our dearest Mother. Grandmother, and Friend. Your love will live in all of us.
