Ms. Rosetta C. Redditt

Rosetta C. Redditt was born on September 1, 1942, in Moorhead; Mississippi, to the late Mr. Johnnie B. Carter and Mrs. Annie Florence Carter. On May 5, 2026, she peacefully transitioned from labor ta reward, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, strength, and devotion to family and community. Rosetta dedicated her life to Christ at a very young age and remained a faithful servant throughout her life. Throughout her Christian journey she faithfully sang in the choir, was on the usher board, culinary ministry, and Mother board. Her unwavering faith and commitment to God were reflected in the way she loved, prayed far, and encouraged everyone around her. Rosetta earned her high school education and later obtained certifications as a Certified Nursing Assistant ·and Medical Assistant. She worked diligently in the medical field for many years, caring for others with compassion and grace, including adults living with mental health diagnoses. Her nurturing spirit and desire to help others made her a trusted caregiver, advisor, and friend to many. Rosetta loved planting flowers, growing house plants, gardening, cooking, baking, fashion, and shopping. Her famous peanut butter cookies, tea cakes, and pound cakes. She brought smiles to countless faces and became family traditions treasured. She found joy in caring for others and educating people about healthy living and proper nutrition based on their medical needs. Above. all else, her children and family were the highlight other life. Mer love extended far beyond motherhood. She constantly prayed for her loved ones, encouraged church attendance, urged everyone to build a relationship with God, and inspired others to study and understand his word. Her wisdom, strength, humor, and quiet way of loving wilt forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving mother to Robert V. Redditt Sr. (Theresa) of Riverdale, IL, Quintin D. Redditt of Milwaukee, WI. She also loved to cherish her memories of her siblings; Vanetta Washington (Terry), Johnna Holland (George), and Johnny B. Carter Jr., all of Moorhead, MS; Grandchildren Robert Redditt II, Kilah Redditt, Dominique Stewart, Dania Redditt, Peter Redditt, Danise Hendking, Spring Mason, Quintin Wilson, and Cierra Wilson; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Curtis Watkins, grandson Jonathon Scott, beloved sisters, Arzella Norris and Annette Washington. Though she will be deeply missed, the love, faith, laughter, and· memories she leaves behind will continue to inspire generations to come.
