Mrs. Sandra Mae Scott

Sandra Mae Wilder was born on Sunday, March 4, 1956 in Milwaukee, WI to the union of T.V. and Bessie Wilder. She received her formal education at Lafolla Elementary and Middle School. She the attended Rufus King High School and later transferred to Custer High School where she graduated. At ten years of age, she accepted Christ as her Savior and was united with Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of pastor JC Hughes where she served as a faithful member of the church choir. In 1977 Sandra met her beloved husband, London Scott whom she loved and cared for, they later married. Their union was blessed with four children. Three sons, timothy, Christopher and Stephen; and a step-son, London Scott, Jr. Sandra was employed at Osters for five years. She then advanced to cooking for daycares and schools. in 2004 she graduated from Milwaukee Protestant Home as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her employment then ventured into the health care field where she had a loving passion and great concern for children and the elderly. In her leisure, she loved to cook and sing. She was an excellent cook, she imitated the cooking style from her mother Bessie Wilder. She would cook many of the family reunion and holiday dinners. Sandra had a beautiful singing voice. the leadership of her voice gathered young children around the neighborhood to hear her sing gospel songs. Whenever someone in the family took ill, Sandra was the first in line volunteering her time and services to help whomever was ailing at that time. Despite having some medical issues of her own she would never turn down anyone who needed her help. She never complained or whined about herself, she always wanted to make sure that those around her were o.k. Sandra Mae Wilder-Scott departed this life on October 3, 2014 at 9:45 a.m. She was preceded in death by her father, T.V. Wilder. She leaves to cherish her memory: her beloved mother, Bessie Wilder; beloved husband, London Scott, three sons, Timothy Scott, Christopher (Nicki) Scott and Stephen (Cory Kirchner) Scott; step-son, London Scott Jr.; six grandchildren; three brothers, Lloyd Wilder, Fredrick (Geneva) Wilder and David (Oren) Wilder; two sisters, Vivian Kidd and Loretta (Doug) Kendricks; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, other relatives, dear friends and loved ones.
