Ms. Theresa Marie Charleston

A wonderful Mother, Daughter, Sister, and Friend .... Theresa Marie Charleston (Bell) was 50 years old when she passed into eternal life on Saturday, February 6, 2016. Theresa was the first born to William Thomas Bell II and Charlene Bell in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Wednesday, May 19, 1965. Theresa attended Messmer High School from 9th-10th grade and then attended and graduated from North Division High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Theresa worked at US bank in Milwaukee for 22 faithful years. She was an outstanding and professional employee. She would arrive to her job every day at least 3 hours EARLY, just so that she wouldn't be late! If you know anything about her family; you know being early isn't easy. On December 19, 2004 Theresa made one of the best decisions in her life to study the bible and be baptized for the forgiveness of her sins, receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, and to be added to God's kingdom! At this time she became a member of the Milwaukee Church of Christ. This was one of the happiest times in Theresa's life; getting to know the Lord and understanding His love for her. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters in Christ and going to church. Whenever she was not working, she was overjoyed with .spendmg time and spoiling her daughters and her grandchildren. They were truly her pride and joy! Some of the most precious moments in Theresa's life were the birth of her children, her grand babies, and being able to direct, plan, and coordinate both of her daughters beautiful weddings from the beginning to the end. She put her heart and soul into every detail and wasn't satisfied until everything was to perfection. Her life-long goal was to be a loving and dedicated mother; which she was. She loved to go shopping and find great deals! She enjoyed reading daily scriptures, having prayer times, and doing her favorite word search puzzles. She loved going to Wisconsin Dells several times a year to relax and hang out with her family. She had a love for going to the movies, talking on the phone with her family and friends, and joking and laughing with everyone. Theresa was known for calling her mom and dad every day, along with the rest of her family, just to check on them! She was extremely selfless and just wanted everyone to be safe, happy, and know that she loved them. She is survived by her two children, Charese (Charles) Turner of Milwaukee, Desiree (Quinn) Billingslea of Chicago; two grandchildren, Amyrakle Turner, Jaleiya Turner of Milwaukee; her beloved mother Charlene Bell of Milwaukee; a brother William Anthony Bell III of Atlanta; a sister Christina (Jason) Morris of Atlanta.; her nieces Octavia Bell, Tatisha Bell of Milwaukee, Soleil Morris, Summer Morris of Atlanta; her nephews Adihia Bell, William Xavier Bell IV of Milwaukee, Cameron Bell of Atlanta; three great nephews, Sammy Bell, Wendell Johnson, Jordell Johnson of Milwaukee. Theresa is preceded in death with her father and best friend William Thomas Bell II, her sister and buddy Shirley F. Bell; Grandparents William Douglas Bell, Hattie M. Bell, Arthur Tinsley, and Leomia Tinsley.
