Mr. Willie Charles Hull Sr.

Willie Charles (W.C.) Hull, Sr. was born on September 21, 1932 to the union of Obell, Sr. and Lillie Mae Hull in McCool, Mississippi. Willie (W.C.) received his formal education at Greenlee School in McCool, Mississippi. Although he was unable to complete his formal educa- tion, he recognized the value of education which he instilled in his younger siblings, children and grandchildren with encouragement and financial support. Willie (W.C.) accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was baptized at Abraham Baptist Church. He attended St. Peter Immanuel Lutheran Church regularly, as his health permitted. Willie Charles (W.C.) Hull, Sr. was united in holy matrimony with Allie Mae Griffin on September 15, 1959 in Milwaukee, WI. Their union was blessed with 5 children. He was employed by Peck's Meat Packing Company and Patrick Cudahy as a Master Butcher for the majority of his career until retirement. He was a member of his local union. He later began a second career as a school bus driver with Johnson School Bus Company. Willie (W.C.) took great pride in all of his employment opportunities and had an exceptional work ethic. He enjoyed driv- ing, interacting with and mentoring the children he transported. In his leisure he enjoyed family outings, traveling, exercising, sports and spending time with fami- ly. Willie had a passion for barbecuing and watching his favorite sports teams. He cherished his grandchildren. He also had a generous spirit, upbeat personality and a great sense of humor, en- joyed laughing and telling jokes. Willie Charles Hull, Sr. transitioned on November 9,2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Obell Sr,. and Lillie Mae Hull, Mary Lillie Lockhart, Abercene Bridges, O.B. Hull, Jr., Wilbur Hull and Ruby Jean Hull. He leaves to cherish his memory 3 daughters and 2 sons: Linda (Vincent) Wilkerson, Sr., Mequon, WI, Sandra Hull, Milwaukee, WI, Janice Hull, Atlanta, GA, Willie Charles, Jr. (Mona) Hull , Sun Prairie, WI, Jeffery Sr. (Danielle) Hull, Milwaukee, WI. 8 grandchildren: Travon Hull, Justin Hull, Vincent (Malik) J. Wilkerson II, Jeffery Hull, Jr., Dominique Wilkerson, Julius Wilkerson, Donovan Hull and India Wilkerson. 5 sisters and 3 brothers: Hertecine Greenfield, Jackson, MS, Engia (Ruben) Smith, Jackson, MS, Betty (Carl) Jemerson, St. Charles, MO, Camra Finnie, Los Angeles, CA, Mary Joyce (Floyd) Bowie, Jr., Lewis Hull, Jr., Sparks, NV, Richard Hull, McCool, MS, Edward Hull, Milwaukee, WI and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
